About Microneedling
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that improves texture, reduces visible signs of ageing, and restores a youthful glow. Using a device with ultra-fine needles, tiny controlled micro-injuries are created on the skin’s surface, triggering the natural healing process and stimulating fresh collagen and elastin production. This boost in natural fibres helps smooth fine lines, minimise wrinkles, reduce acne scars, stretch marks, and enlarged pores, while improving firmness and tone. Suitable for all skin types, microneedling can be performed on the face, neck, décolleté, and scalp. It also enhances the absorption of topical products for maximum results. For best outcomes, a series of sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended, though even 1–2 treatments can refresh and revitalise the skin.
